The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Local Content representing Lagos West Senatorial District Senator Solomon Adeola has congratulated all Nigerians as the nation celebrates the anniversary of its 58th years of existence on October 1 .
In a congratulatory message to Nigerians, the senator said in spite of challenges facing the nation on various fronts, Nigeria is still a blessed nation with potentials for greatness and future prosperity adding that if unity, justice and fair play are enthroned in the affairs of the nation, we stand to regain lost glory in the comity of nation as well as progress in the area of economic development.
“We must be optimistic about a better future for Nigeria as we have all the requisite factors for great socio economic development. All of us must play our part in and benefit from the exploitation of our God given human and natural resources “Senator Adeola stated.
The senator said as the nation enters another round of general election in our growing democracy, all Nigerian should abide by democratic tenets and allow the votes of the people count in our drive to ensure good governance in our nation adding that so far Nigerian has made remarkable progress in our drive to consolidate democratic rule after years of military dictatorship.
